ProVista InnoPark - A New Green Industrial Model

ProVista InnoPark is a pioneering carbon-neutral headquarters, a new green industrial model,  in Dongguan, China, created for the Provista Group, a global leader in  solar-power products. This development transcends the conventional industrial park, integrating manufacturing, offices, an R&D center, and worker dormitories into a single, sustainable ecosystem. The development is comprised of 2 main buildings: Tech A & Tech B, a dormitory and a retro-fitted existing factory. The  2 towers,  Tech A and B, which houses Provista's core operations, incubates emerging green-tech ventures, fostering a collaborative environment for innovation.

The project is the manifesto  of the Group’s vision: “Well-being for People & Environment through Technology & Innovation, Generating Social, Environmental and Economic values .” It stands as a direct rebuttal to the resource-depleting and often socially negligent model of traditional industry. This commitment is further realized through the “Dodo Project,” a fund for green innovation research, positioning InnoPark as a living prototype for a new, restorative industrial model.

The architectural concept, “Reconnect Man with Nature through Innovation and Technology,” draws inspiration from the region's historical terraced rice fields. This is expressed through the curvilinear building forms, stepped terraces, and facades designed for vertical greening. The holistic passive design strategy optimizes natural ventilation and daylight, creating a pleasant microclimate and significantly reducing energy consumption.

Sustainability is woven into every facet of the design. The project is beyond carbon neutral, with its solar array feeding surplus power back to the grid. Innovative features include a naturally ventilated basement parking, prominent staircases to promote health and save energy, and community amenities like the “Dodo Community Farm” and an educational “ Dodo” path. ProVista InnoPark is a vibrant, sustainable community and a powerful new archetype for industry, demonstrating that ecological responsibility and human well-being can be the very foundation of Industrial and commercial progress.
