A combination of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Graffiti Art, creating a huge artificial image, occupying the facade of an antique building. This image should in one hand coexist with the uniqueness of the building, and work as a protection layer for the building's exterior wall. In the other hand, and most importantly, enhance the cultural existence of the building related to the surrounding neighborhood. The work I did was an image of a forest occupying the facade of a 14 floors building in one of the most crowded districts, MongKok, of Hong Kong. Enhancing the idea of Greening in the neighborhood.    This image of forest also coexists with all the residents of the building. Metaphors all the families inside this building are one big forest.

Moreover, a building's facade provides a huge canvas, an exquisite image can be drawn onto it. Imagine what can be drawn on a canvas sized 50M times 50M, and what a visual spectacle can be created.

Further to the idea, many antique buildings can become this canvas. Strong images carrying strong messages can produced. For example, a painting of the molecular level forming a geometry pattern and occupying a building's facade. Or a portrait of an iconic figure, enlarge to the size of a building's facade.

This idea was inspired by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, a Bulgarian conceptual artist who use monumental building to create their art. Wrapping these buildings and other structures in simple and ordinary fabric. temporary created a stunning and artistic image. What I did was to transcend the usage of monumental building and turn this temporariness into a permanent artistic being.
