1.1 Originality and Ownership 

Entrants affirm and warrant that all submissions to the International Sustainable Design Awards 2026 (“ISDA” or “ISDA 2026”) are original works created independently and do not infringe upon any third-party rights, including but not limited to copyrights, design rights, patents, trademarks, or other proprietary rights. Entrants confirm that they are the sole owner of the submitted work or have obtained express authorisation from the rightful owner(s) for submission.

 

1.2 Accuracy of Information

Entrants are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all information provided in their submissions. Any misrepresentation, falsification, or omission of material facts may result in immediate disqualification. If any third party raises a claim regarding an entry, the entrant shall bear full responsibility for resolving the matter promptly.

 

1.3 Indemnification
Entrants agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hong Kong Arts and Sustainable Design Association (“HKASD”) from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from breaches of the aforementioned representations and warranties. If an awarded entry is found to infringe upon third-party rights, HKASD and ISDA reserve the right to revoke the relevant award and take appropriate action.

 

1.4 Prohibited Content

Entries must not contain any material deemed pornographic, violent, obscene, indecent, defamatory, profane, suggestive, inciting, threatening, invasive of others' privacy, local politically sensitive, or otherwise inappropriate. HKASD and ISDA 2026 reserve the right to disqualify and remove any entries that violate these content restrictions without prior notice.

 

1.5 Submission Deadline
All entries must be submitted before the official deadline for each stage of the competition. Late submissions or incomplete entries will be disqualified. Entrants are solely responsible for ensuring timely delivery of their entries.

 

1.6 Collection and Use of Personal Information

By submitting an entry, entrants consent to the collection, processing, and use of their personal information by HKASD and ISDA for purposes related to the administration and promotion. Entrants grant HKASD and ISDA the right to use their submitted work, name, and likeness for promotional activities, including but not limited to social media, press releases, and marketing materials related to the Awards. No further consent or remuneration shall be required for such uses.
 

1.7 Entry Fees and Payment
All entrants must pay the required entry fees before the submission deadline. Entry fees are non-refundable under any circumstances. By submitting an entry and completing payment, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted the ISDA 2026 Payment Agreement on the submission platform payment section, which includes details on payment procedures, accepted methods, non-refundable policy, promotional codes, and any additional processing fees incurred.

 

For the avoidance of doubt, entrants are solely responsible for reviewing all fee details, payment terms, promotional code availability, and related arrangements prior to submission and payment. Any claim of not being aware of a promotional code, discount eligibility, payment requirements, or any related programme fee shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, dispute, complaint, chargeback, or refund.

 

All payments made to ISDA 2026, including entry fees and any other programme fees, are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of circumstances, including but not limited to changes of mind, failure to read the rules, failure to apply a promotional code, misunderstanding of fee structure, or dissatisfaction with results.
 

1.8 Judging Process and Final Decisions
All entries will be evaluated by an independent panel of esteemed professionals based on the published criteria for ISDA 2026. The decisions made by the ISDA 2026 Judging Panel are final and binding. No appeals, requests for reconsideration, or disputes will be entertained to ensure the integrity and impartiality of the competition.

 

1.9 Finalist Status, Award Results and Official Recognition

All preliminary results released prior to the completion of the official award confirmation procedures shall be regarded as shortlisting results only. Entries notified by ISDA 2026 as shortlisted will be designated as “Finalists”. Only Finalists who have successfully completed the official award confirmation procedures (including any applicable administrative requirements and related arrangements) within the designated deadline will be officially recognised and publicly announced by ISDA 2026 as “Winners”.  Finalist status does not automatically constitute official winner recognition by ISDA.
